Had a long Palworld session that started in the afternoon and ended late in the evening. We’ve been exploring Sakurajima and the new Feybreak expansion. We built a new base, captured some new pals and finished a couple of boss fights. So far this has been the most notable easter egg in the game, a little nod to Dark Souls… one of these days I’ll finish the series, or even one of the games… I hope.

Discovered Sakurajima tonight in PalWorld. Each area has its own special plants and pals, but I think Sakurajima is one of my faves. Being here makes me want to skip through the rest of winter to get to spring.

We’ve been chipping away at Palworld, especially with the mods getting messed up after the holiday update. It is at least playable now, albeit we had to disable/remove some mods to get things to work.The only issues I ran into tonight were the inability to craft new items brought in by the update – it would throw up a ridiculous number if I tried to craft more than one item.
Either way, it’s something I’ll have to science… assuming a mod update doesn’t come along and fix it. As it was I had fun defeating a couple of bosses and capturing more new and interesting breeds of pal. With many more waiting to be discovered… next time!
Merry Holidaymas 2024!
Merry Hollandaise! I had a nice long winters nap, and awoke to the smell of rib roast in the oven, and gifts from friends and fam. We like to keep it low key. The rest of the evening will be drinking eggnog and enjoying some food and digital entertainment. 🙂

Been enjoying the quiet weekend despite the rain. If anything it made things more cozy. Worked on my digital holiday card a bit tonight and did more holiday DOOM, even managed to repair Palworld! All of my holiday purchases arrived today, just in time for me to send out after the holidays…

Storming E1M1 thru E1M8 and Sometimes 9
Our plans to play Palworld were thwarted by the latest update, which broke our mods. After some unsuccessful attempts we played DOOM Co-op instead. At some point in the hopefully not too distant future, we’ll check out GZDoom in co-op for extra modding purposes. Until then we can have fun playing the Bethesda version.

I’ve been wanting to livestream this, but I don’t think I’ll have time to with the way things have been on Planet Real World. I’m still going to enjoy this mod though, one way or another. This is probably one of my fave wads, the craftsmanship has been stellar. Some of these modern wads make the wads I played back in the 90’s pale by comparison.
