First time for everything.

Wore my L4D2 T-Shirt for the first time, played Portal 2 co op for the first time with a friend, and last night I played Killing Floor for the first time.

But last night there was a first I’d not like to see repeated. Next door at around 7:00pm things started getting a tad noisy, and it escalated after about ten. Music was playing loudly and banging could be heard. But then the banging began to move the knick knacks and pictures on the wall. Hell I was playing Killing Floor with my headphones up high filling my ears with gunshots and deathmetal and I could STILL hear the house vibrate.

The husband who lives there drove up with his mother, and apparently earlier their 13 year old daughter took their 11 month old boy before 7:00. They called the cops as we were about to. It turns out the wife was by herself getting drunk and wrecking the house. They talked to her, and things did calm down for a few seconds. So the cops told us that if she started acting up again to call them. About 15 minutes later we heard door slamming, we tried to wait for it to calm down again, but another 30 minutes later it sounded as though she was bodyslamming the garage door and destroying other parts of the house. We ended up having the cops come back and they had to arrest her.

We felt bad doing it, but it was just getting insane. Today the husband came back and took his personal belongings, him and the kids were moving out of there. Hell even the mother of the drunken wife was upset at her and was glad she was hauled off. They hope that this becomes some kind of wake up call for her as according to them she has had a drinking problem for quite sometime.

That was painful to watch…
