A day in the kitchen

Today’s scientific experiment was of the Thai variety. I made some chicken and brown rice soup with cilantro and crispy garlic, and a spicy peppery tuna salad in wheat pita bread. Both turned out very flavorful and filling. Didn’t have any fish sauce though, had to rely on some tamari (aged soy sauce) and lime juice instead. I think when I get back I’ll make a pepper sauce for future dishes, then tear right into some video production.
