Break out the bath water.

The last  couple days have been rather tiring. The moment I came home tonight I immediately planted my ass down on the couch and rested a moment, then put together a nice flower bath. I dropped a rose crafted from soap into the bath and it melted into a lovely aroma, then I lit some candles that smelled like the ocean and flowers, then I got my mp3 player out and just relaxed. I think when I finally reach my weekend I’ll be spending the first day off passed out more so than usual.

Oh well. I found time to do a bit of animating in SourceSDK. Didn’t really have time to socialize, but there’s always later tomorrow night. I have to rest up for a full day of work with double time and a half. There’s a bright side to some things I guess.

Man was today weird.

Work was weird today. Especially with one of my co workers. He’s a nice kid, 17. He was a bit unaware of the people around him though.  He didn’t say what book he was reading, but it’s one about a guy getting his brain placed in a woman’s body. So we talked about what we would do if I became a guy or if he became a girl. My response was “search for every old guy/tweaker who ever tried to cop a feel or try to date me”. Then he started talking about sex in general (he watched Sex Ed recently). AROUND AN OLD LADY!!!! I kept trying to signal him to shut his mouth., But he kept going on and on and on, and finally I put a finger to my mouth to signal him one last time. He turned his head and clammed up. She looked at me funny then I looked at her funny. She said nothing to me and vice versa,

So after she left I had to let him know “I TRIED TO SIGNAL YOU!!!!” and he was like “It wasn’t like I was  talking about having sex with the customers!”. Personally I didn’t mind talking about it (the discussion was more along the side of science rather than… giggity)

Anyway…  Then we started talking about religion, we agreed on pretty much everything. Then discussed who could be more cruel, men or women? He said women since they can manipulate Men’s emotions. I gave my opinion. Both sides can be cruel. I don’t believe cruelty is a gender specific thing. I’ve seen some manipulative bitches, but I’ve also seen men being outright abusive. So I would have to say that’s just human nature in general.

Man was today deep and trippy.

Sunday Night Open Thread

So the weather here  has been nice. Not cold or overly hot. Which means I can wear makeup without worrying about it washing away when going outside to help people at work. Been trying some new glittery stuff and eye primer. I think me wearing makeup scares people. They like it but they’re not used to it since normally I don’t wear any (either too lazy to wear it or afraid of it washing off.

Work was pretty calm today. I worked nutrition which meant I only had to deal with people who had concern for their overall health. No assholes or weird people. My back is still kind of bothering me. Not as bad as yesterday but I can feel burning in my shoulder blade areas. I think I need to think about taking a vacation soon. I’ve been feeling pretty achey lately.

Saturday Morning Open Thread

Work was an absolute bitch. Didn’t help that I was working with a thrown out back around a bunch of people who came to work sick… with my luck I’ll probably catch what’s going around. On that note I ,might have to keep a close eye out for people with whooping cough. Seems there is an epidemic in Washington State. With it being close to tourist season I’ll need to be careful.

So I’ve been sitting as upright as possible while making another episode. Proud to say I’m very far ahead! They’ll be much longer than the one I posted at SNews yesterday.

I think tonight I’ll go to bed before sunrise. Got a busy day tomorrow.

Butt Fucked Up The Dick.

Had the day from hell. We were short a person due to a sick call and the person who received the sick call didn’t tell anyone they called in sick…  Nothing got done and no one was out working the floor due to either checking or working the bottle/can return machines (the latter being me). It also didn’t help that 3 cashiers all called in sick… Maybe it’s a good thing that it was both my Monday and Friday. Watch… They’ll probably try to call me in today at the last minute. Like they’ve been doing every week.

Oh well on brighter note I played some Left 4 Dead 2. Found another abortion campaign that I’ll have to review. Also did some TF2 for a little bit with all sniper teams on the server.

Still searching for a RSS bot that works with version 3.0.10 of phpBB3. No luck so far as everything seems to be for older versions. That’s all I really need. I can’t think of any other plugins that we need for the forum. It looks pretty cool with the update alone.

It’s funny. I napped a bit longer after the last blog entry. Got up a few hours before work, had dinner, packed my lunch, went to work, at lunch, came home then had breakfast. What a way to start going to bed! Speaking of bed, I did have another dream when I continued my sleep. I think I’ll hold onto this one though because it can actually work in one of my YCDTOXB storylines.

Early Morning Open Thread

Well, I didn’t get the job… But it went to someone who has a wife and children. They still made a good choice and I wish him well over there. On another note I did some more animating and video capturing tonight for one of the future episodes. It’ll eventually be revealed what drove my character to becoming a sphere.

I’m actually about ready to knock off for now. I’m up past my bedtime today.

At work today a pregnant woman collapsed in severe pain. We all rushed to help her and even got her a wheelchair. What really pissed me off was that customers saw she was in pain but still had no qualm about stepping around her or over her while she was on the ground. Some of them were even of the opinion that “how dare she be in OUR way”. Well fuck you and the horses you rode in on. She needed medical attention and all you people were worried about were getting your fucking coffee supplies. God forbid someone be on the ground in severe pain RIGHT where you needed to go…

There is way too much of this “me me me” mentality in the US. I think people like that drive me insane the most because they have no empathy whatsoever. Can’t even begin to think what life might be like for someone who is not them. May karma come along and give them a swift kick in the ass.
