Preparing For Another Round Of Site Renovations

Been playing around with blog configurations this evening, thinking it’s time for another update on appearances, and eventually a complete revamping under the hood. The latter will need more time to put together, might make a autumn/winter project out of it. In the meantime I’ve been looking at newer themes to run that fit what I’m doing. This one has been nice, but I might do better with something more modern, will continue my wordpress adventures with fresh eyes tomorrow.

Distorted Memories

It’s strange… I had another one of those dreams where I was back in the mid 2000’s with a friend that never existed, introducing them to Team Fortress 2 on a laptop that I never even played it on. Maybe it’s the music I’ve been listening to at work, we’ve been on a mix of the 90’s and 00’s and it’s been SUCH a THROWBACK. Either way it’s still better than those annoying dreams about being late for work. Those ones are always the most irritating.

New Video(s) In The Works!

I’ve got enough footage from Resonite that I’ve started sifting through the couple hundred gigs I’ve accumulated. I still have to figure out how I want to divide it up, but I have plenty for at least one video. I’ll go over it again with fresh eyes tomorrow to figure out how I want to end the video, and what additions I need to add to it… if any. So far I’m not sure if I need to add anything additional.

Each night I’ve been diving into public folders where avatars, props, and all kinds of tools are kept. This evening I scored on some Omega Mart Products! Methinks I’ll be doing some grocery shopping for my personal home. 😀

During my excursion into public folders of swag I also stumbled upon some drinkable Gatorade bottles. Another item I’ll probably stock up on… if I remember which folder I grabbed it from. I was filming at the time, so if I forget I’ll probably be reminded when I finally get around to processing the footage. 😛

Summer Self Care Sunday

There’s something nice about waking up to a purring orange furball and fondling my Steam Deck before getting up to start my morning with an amazeballs brunch. Decided to go for a tamago sandwich with fresh veggies and some miso soup with a satsuma on the side to end the meal with something sweet. Also cooked some rice for sushi bowls. I don’t have any fish, but tamago (Japanese Omelettes) mixed with some veggies make for a nice and colorful rice bowl… when I can be bothered to take pictures, of course. I was far too hungry to take pictures today. 😛

Meanwhile, I’ve made podcasts part of my working around the house ritual. It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten back into listening in on Welcome To Night Vale, but so far I’ve made it to Episode 53. I can’t even begin to explain everything that has transpired, I’m impressed with the overall plot consistency, will probably listen to an episode or two tomorrow. Until then…

Goodnight, Internet. Goodnight.

Off To A Good Start

With the help of two friends, they helped me get things started in Blender tonight! The model I’m working on has bones that are slightly off, so we’ve been focusing on correcting them starting with one of the hands. I probably won’t have any images to share for awhile, at least until I have a successfully ported model to show off, but things are at least moving in the right direction. It was fun to learn something new, and why knows? If I become good at it I might make even more nightmarish creations… but first I’ll need to focus on un-nightmaring the current project.

Not sure how long it’ll take me to get to the finish line, maybe a week or two? I don’t want to jinx it. If I keep a slow pace I should be ok though. Will try to find other things to blog about, preferably with images or videos, preferably after a good night’s sleep after being up for almost 24 hours.

Putting My Head Into The Blender

Talked with a couple friends tonight about 3D Modeling in Blender; I’m thinking of tinkering with it over the weekend. Thanks to Yutram I already have a model that’s a good chunk of the way together. I’m probably going to be bombarding my friends with a bunch of questions relating to it, and looking up bunches of tut’s to get half of an idea of what I’m doing. Unfortunately it’s getting late, and I have an early day tomorrow. The brain fog has come to claim me for another night of hopefully decent sleep.

Early Evening Open Thread

Ever since I’ve started my new video hiatus my head has been spinning with all the other things I want to do, or try. It’s the curse of wanting to do ALL OF THE THINGS but only having so much free time in a day to pick a couple. I spent some time with a friend in Resonite this evening, and also looking at stuff relating to Blender (the two may or may not be related). I enjoyed good tea and company, and found the last flower and vantage point in HZD before calling it quits. That brain fog is rolling in now, which can mean only one thing…

Another Day, Another Scorcher

We had some record breaking temperatures here at Overlord HQ today! A whopping 43C  when I got off work today! It’s JUST starting to cool off tonight, with the scent of sulfur in the air. Mostly took to the tablet and played DOOM 64 on my Steam Deck and chatted with friends across my collection of small devices. It’s a good thing I don’t have any videos planned currently, wouldn’t be able to get them done.

The weather is supposed to be like this for a couple weeks. I wouldn’t mind it so much if it was just a few degrees cooler, or time off to reeeeally enjoy the weather.

Meanwhile in Hell

I think I built up enough rage at work today to clear Elysium on tonight’s Hades run. It felt good fisting demons and the dead after a long day of MAGA morons that can’t handle me wearing a fucking mask because of my allergies. Fuck these people with something hard, preferably rolled in tar, glass and salt.
