Cooked tiny shrimp in teriyaki

Cooked tiny shrimp in teriyaki

I decided to make this last night. Made for a good snack tonight. 😀

1/4 cup of sake
3 tbsp of sugar
3 tbsp of soysauce
32 tiny shrimp, clams, or tuna bits

Combine the sake, sugar and soy sauce in a small pan, then add the shrimp and boil for two to three minutes. Take shrimp out of pan and put into a small bowl and continue to boil teriyaki mixture for about 10 minutes until it thickens into a sauce. Return the shrimps to the pan and cook for another minute. Set in a bowl to cool. Serve cold as a side to a Japanese meal or as part of a bento box.
