Welcome to The Engine Room, where amateur, apathetic mod critic, Yutram, attempts to break Valve’s Source engine one mod at a time. Our antihero faces the entire Half-Life 2 mod community, armed with his sharp tongue and Hawaiian shirt. He must enter the very bowels of the internet, facing the mental tortures of mod after mod… for profit, of course.
As part of his first assignment, Yutram is faced with the daunting task of reviewing a mod by the French mod development group, Cide, known as “Get a Life.” How will this turn out? I don’t know, but it’s likely that someone’s day will be ruined by this.
