I always seem to find myself going back to the Left 4 Dead’s at least every Spooktober Season. It fits the vibe, AND if you’re on PC you can enjoy an entire community’s worth of imagination. I was browsing GameMaps this afternoon for a potential fun campaign to play this evening with a friend, and I came across The Hive – a campaign based in the Resident Evil Universe. Five maps in total, with much to explore, decent pacing and a comprehensive hint system put in by the map developer. There were some bugs here and there, but it was mostly a couple missing textures and some weird special infected spawns. I don’t really have any other complaints! It was very well put together from intro to exit. If you’re feeling a nostalgic itch to play some Left 4 Dead 2 I recommend giving this one a go!
