Escaping into SFM is like escaping into another universe, or in this type of setting a multiverse? Either way, having a drink with a friend and some good music sounds like a good place to lose myself before my head wanders to the land of sleep. I should have this video ready to deploy in another week or so, the ending is short n sweet.
I was feeling a bit of a lighter chocolaty mood tonight, which gave me the perfect opportunity to try the “Chocolate Monkey” tea I ordered recently from The Amazing Zon. Years ago I fell in love with a chocolate banana tea made by Republic of Tea, and when I finally made it down to my last bag of the stuff I wanted to see if there was a worthwhile replacement. It tastes pretty much the same, although a bit bolder because of it being a loose leaf tea instead of bagged. I’ve only had it straight so far, but I’m sure it would taste good with a splash of milk. It already tastes sweet enough on its own, so you don’t need to add much sweetner, if at all. It’s a healthy way to get that cocoa fix, and they say cocoa can help with depression, and it’s been really fucking depressing lately. So it’s good to drink something that can help AND not give you diabeetus. :v

I’ve spent the better part of my weekend slaying demons, like I do on most weekends. Yesterday I progressed a bit in DOOM Eternal, and today I also progressed more into Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night. It’s been another gray weekend, and the spooky vibe just seems right.
Aside from gaming, I’ve also accomplished in going through about one quarter of my closet. I re-organized my pants collection and pulled aside some garments that need repair/love. Sewing a button and turning some of my jeans into shorts is on the future to do list. I already cut up one pair, and now I’m contemplating if I want to personalize them or leave them plain… the material is thin enough that I’m uncertain if it would be worth it or not. I’ve also been contemplating decking out one of my jean jackets; perhaps add some patches to them to make my own style. It’s been awhile since I’ve done anything creative with my clothes.
I went over the Deadpool footage again today, and it’s become too short for me to do anything with, and it was filmed in an older resolution. As a result I’ve tossed the footage. What footage that was left was good, but there are better Deadpool videos on YouTube and I know this one would have been just another one for in the pile. Instead, I returned to working on the ending for the Like a Dragon video. I found some more models, and plan to change the scene a little bit — mainly the background. I found something better to use other than a Coven of Eggmans.
I guess I’ll have to save The Three Eggmigos for another project. Oh well, on the bright side the new background characters I have in mind fit better into this universe — moreso than those freaks in the front anyway. 😛
I’m currently in the process of evaluating some long forgotten Deadpool footage from an old livestream! So far I’ve narrowed it down from almost two hours to just a few minutes. This one will be like the Yakuza one in the sense that it will only have an ending, so some script writing will need to be involved to close the visual gap.
I also put together the video thumbnail for Saturday’s Broforce video! It’s simple, but that’ll match the footage.That’s one nice thing about Broforce content; it pretty much writes itself.
The video is prepped and ret-2-go! All I need to do now is put together a thumbnail in Krita, and then it’ll be ready for prime time. I’m gonna go reward myself with some delicious sleep.

I accomplished quite a bit yesterday during my little zennning. I finished some SFM rendering, and compiled a few image sequences. I’ve put them all together tonight — all that’s left to do now is to play with the audio… and I’ll have a video for Saturday!!!
I’m not sure if I’ll start on another Broforce video, or return to finishing the end of my Yakuza video. Heck, I might even look at a different set of game footage if I’m up for it.
