I don’t like posting too many open threads within a certain period, but I’m lacking necessary brain power to put together a proper post. Most of that was placed towards real life, and animation… doesn’t really leave me with much to talk about.
Open Thread in session!
Put some final ordering touches on some presents, did a little housework, drank copious amounts of tea, played around in a few artistic programs and I didn’t have to get out of my PJ’s once! 😛 It was a nice cold, foggy tea sippin’ day – perfect for doing something and nothing at the same time. Some parts of the future aren’t that bad, I guess.
I recently purchased Cyberpunk during the last sale. I’m only a little over an hour in, so I don’t have much of an opinion on the game yet. I’ve downloaded a few minor mods (one of them is the hair). I’ve left off in the tutorial area for now, would have continued but it’s getting late. Most of my time was spent finding mods and getting it hooked into Vortex. At least it’ll be ready for the next time I opt to launch the game!
Completed a side-op in MGSV in probably one of the more ridiculous ways possible. I chilled on a ladder, watched these lemmings trip over my head. It’s almost as fun as cardboard box sledding! I also abducted half a base (because why not),and blew up some comms equipment. Then I proceeded to wander around Afghanistan like a jackass.
As the weekend draws near, I find myself contemplating what digital adventure I’d like to revisit, or perhaps even begin for the first time. I literally have more games than time these days, and I’m craving to do something that will both keep me warm AND entertain me. I’m not sure if I want to continue my romp through NieR Automata, or if I want to do something else… perhaps revisit a Yakuza game, or abduct animals and soldiers in MGSV, it’s been awhile since I’ve terrorized Mother Base or knocked someone off a ladder with my ass. It would switch up the gaming convo at work — I’m pretty sure they’re all getting tired of hearing about my adventures as different albino androids.
I’ve forgotten what it means to be bored.
Today in gamer fashion: Microsoft has crafted a Minesweeper themed ugly sweater. It looks nice (and the money even goes to charity!), but… it’s a Microsoft sweater! Their memory leaks make me question how many holes would be in the sweater. :v
I’m getting close to finishing my holiday shopping; just waiting on a few choice items in the mail, and keeping an eye open for intriguing local treasures. Also got quite a bit of animation done tonight! I imagine I’ll have the first part rendered later in the week, then I can start on part 2 of 3….? Either way, in the meantime enjoy some strange illustrations.
I don’t have anything big planned, but later on in December I have a small video rolling out! After that I’m not sure when I’ll have another video out, but on the bright side I’ve been having a laugh while working on things:
This year’s holiday video might not be much, but next year’s set will at least be on par with my more crazier videos.
My new fave thing to do as 9S is to sneak up behind unsuspecting machines, and then I’ll hack them to fight for me. I made my own little group of androids and stormed the machine kingdom once more. I’m now officially at a point in the game I’ve never been! I think that’s a perfect time to shelve the game, until I open it again. Another weekend comes to a close, and another work week begins anew, and another opportunity to cross more things off my to-do list… such as posting about something that doesn’t have to do with albino androids and android looking machines! 😛
