It’s the weekend. Lets make flying vehicles!

“Important” channel update
This is all I had time for. Hopefully I covered all of the important points. Hopefully I’ll make time Read more““Important” channel update”
Now for a special announcement.
I took some time out of my evening to make a short but detailed vlog for my youtube channel.
Here it is:
Be sure to listen to it word for word. It’s rather important.
Ladies and gentlemen, the BluetoothBrush
Not as in a blue coloured toothbrush, but an actual toothbrush with bluetooth enabled on it. Don’t believe me? Check this out:
Procter & Gamble’s subsidiary Oral-B will unveil what it says is the world’s first Bluetooth-enabled ToothBrush at next week’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Part of the company’s Smart Connected Bathroom idea, the innovative device will provide users with “excellent control” over their oral care through an Android or iOS application.
It’s said to come with the following features:
- Two Way communication – The Brush sends data about your brushing habits to the application and you can use the application to personalize your brushing.
- Delivers Expert Guidance with Focused Care – Dentists can use insights from the patient’s brushing history and based on diagnosis, they can personalize the brushing experience based on the needs.
- Programs Personal Brush Settings – You can control the brush with your smartphone as a remote and set basic setting options.
- Stores Your Data – Tracks details about how you brush and stores it in the free to download app for iOS and Android devices.
This makes me wonder what we’ll have next. Smart toilet paper that teaches you how to wipe? Or better yet maybe bluetooth condoms that alert you if they pop or not. For the ladies there could also be bluetooth pregnancy tests and tampons that send statistical data to your smartphone so that it’ll tell you if you’re pregnant or how fast your flow is! The possibilities are endless!
A walk and some tea shopping
Nothing totally exciting happened. I went for a walk yesterday evening. That was nice, the sun was still out and everything. I deposited my checks and came home to do a little shopping. My friend TheBongmaster introduced me to a website called Dragon Teahouse. I’ve been needing to stock up on flowering tea but wasn’t sure where to go until he suggested it. So him and I decided to do a little shopping. 😀
So I have a bunch of flowers (green and black tea types) plus some matcha coming in the mail. They have all kinds of types to choose from. They had some more interesting stuff that I’ll have to go back and have a look through. You can use paypal to purchase their teas AND from what I can tell it looks like they mostly do free shipping.
Back up and kicking
Turns out one of the updates I ran the other night was the cause of mumble morphing my voice (and others) into the spawn of satan. Since I’m very good at doing that on my own WITHOUT the help of a OS update I reinstalled fresh and only installed the updates that I know I’ll use. Needless to say I’m back up and running 100% until I find some reason to fuck up again.
Damn it… the sun is coming up again. Guess it’s time to go lay down… Oh, and here’s a picture of a bed I found for Source Filmmaker, I’ve already shown a few people. But I’ll post it here anyway.
Ok, sleep time.
I know what my weekend project is going to be.
Updated to the latest kernal under Fedora 20 this morning only to have more grief happen. I lost communication in mumble (everything turned horribly autotuned) and even before the kernal update mumble was giving me slight problems. Each time I started mumble it kept doing a sigterm on an audio process. Since my video drivers haven’t been working properly under Fedora 20 anyway, I’ll just go say fuck it and go back to 19. The few bugs I had in 19 were in 20 anyway with extras thrown in.
Oh well, I was bored and had my little adventure. 😛 I think tomorrow I’ll start copying off my files again. Luckily Linux doesn’t take forever to reinstall like any version of Windows. I can be up and running at full throttle in half a day without having to take freaking forever to install updates and restart over and over again.
Getting high on my gmod server.
Saw a couple of players chillaxin’ on my server and decided to investigate. Turned into fun flying and explosion time.
