After some dusting I decided to reward myself with some TF2 and Serious Sam BFE. Having this new power at my fingertips is just awesome.
Tomorrow’s objective will be the bathroom and the floors.
This weather sucks.
It’s been pouring down outside nonstop since I went to lay down this morning. I still didn’t want to wake up. Forcing myself out of bed though. Think I’ll make two things of tea (one flowering and one chai) and activate spring cleaning mode.
Early Morning Open Thread
Today I learned how to import a 3D model from Portal 2 into 3DStudioMax. I thought that would be the hard part, but it turns out the difficult bit is compiling it again. I get three separate errors depending on the engine or the OS I’m running the compiler under at the time.
More pleasant news. I played Serious Sam 3 with everything maxed out! No lag whatsoever. Tried to find some custom maps for it tonight but their website seems to not be working correctly. Some of the pages timeout… Ah well.
We’re having a more “quiet” storm right now. The lights have already flickered a few times. I think I’m going to call it an early morning now.
Downtime
Due to some downtime caused by spring cleaning, rebuilding computer, work, other projects and alcohol. I will be on a short hiatus from releasing any further episodes. I still have some in the pipeline, but I’m going to have to recapture/render some footage due to what was lost when my RAID array exploded. All the important stuff is still there, it’s a matter of finding some time to create/assemble it.
I do have good news though. Yutram and I have access to Garrysmod 13. We might make some videos showing off what the beta has in store. 🙂

“Spring Cleaning”
I might have to put my projects on hold for awhile. Between configuring my system, working out kinks, being a football at work, errands, social life and finally spring cleaning I’m going to be busy for a time. I may release a vlog instead this Friday (unless I can find something else).

I just happened to be around when Garry handed out over a thousand beta keys at garrysmod.com. Interface looks real awesome, can’t wait until I can get my old addons in there.

The forums and game servers are currently offline due to another windstorm. Expect this to be happening for another 3 or 4 days.
