Today my new mic arrived! I purchased one of these for voice projects and general screwing around: As soon as my mic stand and XLR to stereo cable arrive I’ll be ruining peoples ears with my full range speaking voice!

Early Morning Open Thread
Ok! I know I’ve fallen a tad behind on my blogging. But I finally have 3 days off in a row to make up for it hopefully.
I finally finished my project for SNews, it will be up here and at the SNews site later on. I hope it turns out ok, I’ve been drinking and video editing at the same time. Sometimes interesting, sometimes very interesting.
8 days a week
Think tonight when I get off I might buy myself something nice to kick off the weekend. Maybe a good beer or something…
Open Thread
Tonight I stayed an hour longer than what I was supposed to. They give you a bunch of things to do and not enough time to do it all, expecting every part of it to be finished. They’re only going easy on me because I’m new over there, but I have no fucking clue how I’m supposed to be getting better at it if I keep taking longer to get something done.
Half Baked
Yesterday was a very busy day. Woke up early for an auction for a logitech G510 keyboard, won it, got dressed and walked to the street fair. Lots of nice food and stuff there, but didn’t buy any of it. I wasn’t hungry plus the stuff there was pretty overpriced. Went to work afterwards. I was so busy that I never got to take my break, only a lunch. Lots of baking, cleaning, giving children cookies, etc. Have even more of it tomorrow.
Oh it’s gonna be fun…
Saturday Night Open Thread
So I managed to get a good nights rest after having stayed up for 24 hours… Worked in bakery again today, did alright. Even wrote on a cake. Cakes are not lies over there. Will be doing another shift tomorrow over there. I hate 8 day stretches…
I’m thinking tomorrow I’ll try to hit the street fair before work. Hopefully I can arise from bed. It’s hard to get me in it but once in I practically want to live there…
Open Thread
Survived a full day of work today. Surprisingly it was pleasant. Came home and helped the neighbors next door move out. It’s a shame to see them go because they’re actually nice people. So tonight after moving things into a u-haul we had pizza and beer, the meal of champions.

Early to bed, early to rise, early to get off and pass out.
Did some more work in premiere and after effects. Also played a bit of L4D2 on the side, didn’t run into any asshats but still got some nice footage. A hunter and jockey attacked me at the same time and I managed to come out of that without any rape whatsoever.
Will probably be on tomorrow afternoon sometime assuming I don’t pass out after work. I have a full day tomorrow which means it’s time to bring my lunch box! Thai fried rice awaits.
I’ve earned it.
