Today I went into work not feeling well. Still survived it though. Wasn’t too bad. Looks like I might have some computer work on the horizon! Some guy at work has a 10 year old laptop with windows 2000 on it and he’s been surfing the web with no protection of any kind because he felt it was “too old to really need any”. He only uses it for internet anyway. I might suggest running a linux distro.

This is serious. The community slowly continues to lose people and the one thing we have to look forward to is one entire Minkata sparkly. Maybe I should take a page from these guys and leave too.
In fact, this is it. As it is I’ve mainly been playing other games. The only reason why I visit every single forum is so I can fill the void where content should be. That’s right… As much as I hate to be one of the people to pull a GBCW, I’m leaving and that can’t be helped.

Tonight one of my coworkers couldn’t understand why I like playing L4D1 or 2. Why? Because he said they were boring, predictable, and linear. Of course he does play this on an XBox, so I told said “Well it would be if you had to play the same maps over and over again”. Completely went over his head. Doesn’t seem to understand the concept of custom campaigns. Of course he says those aren’t any better. He would know this how?
Sunday Morning Open Thread
Woke up all warm yesterday and feeling alright. Always nice to wake up in the afternoon not feeling groggy. Work was rather slow. In fact I got off ten minutes early tonight and picked up a few supplies (root beer, cheese etc). Then tonight I blew some things up in TF2. Item server seemed to be down but still had access to my selected weapons. Better than vanilla at least.
Friday Morning Open Thread
Today I got rid of the errors on the forum. Next mission will be updating it. But in the meantime I goofed off more in TF2 tonight, chatted with the regular friends and even some others I haven’t heard from in awhile! I checked the mail and found I was excused from jury duty so overall it was a carefree day! No Black Friday for me thanks. I’ll stick to buying my gifts for everyone online. You won’t get trampled, peppersprayed or held at gunpoint… Seriously it seems to get more insane each year. It either needs to be rethought or dismissed entirely.
So now I’m sitting here enjoying some cherryberry green tea and getting ready to hit the rack.

I’m stuffed. We had a good thanksgiving spread just like last year. Spent the day home enjoying my day off staying out of the cold. Played a bit of TF2 and upgraded my mumble client. Doing so fixed my problem with premiere pro. Every time I launched premiere while mumble ran the application would crash. All the other adobe programs would work, but something with premiere and mumble just didn’t get along. Updating fixed that w00t!

Good thing I decided to take the break from producing episodes. Work has been more demanding lately. I got called in 3 hours after going to sleep yesterday. I still ended up going in at a proper hour (3pm) so I can’t complain too much.
Been playing a lot of TF2, in fact I think I capped the item system (not that I play just to get items or anything) but I still had a bunch of fun. I’m still trying to figure out how to get TF2 replays working on the server. So far http or ftp seem to be a no go at this point. I’ll continue studying that tomorrow if I have time, and if not there is always my weekend.
Also to anyone who goes to the forum: If you can’t get to there we may be experiencing either be experiencing a power outage or the internet may be down for whatever reason. We’re in the middle of a hellish storm right now with winds currently at 65mph. I’m honestly surprised that I haven’t lost the connection at all tonight. Hopefully I’ll be just as lucky tomorrow/earlier today.
