The Mind Of OverlordTomala

Relaxation Attempt #39

In one form or another it’s been an all work no play day, so this post is going to be rather dull. I’ve had issues sleeping these last couple of nights, so I’m doing a small bit of cherry blossom aromatherapy before bed. Along with a mix of sencha and matcha green tea. Surprisingly I’ve managed to get a few friends of mine over to the matcha side, with a little bribery of course… 😛

Open Thread & Chill

The mornings have been starting with a bitter chill, and have been thawing out towards the afternoon finally! I was actually able to treat myself to some watermelon mint iced tea I got for Christmas! Been hydrating with tropical teas after a long day, even treated myself to a little spa action just before bed. I didn’t get much done on animation tonight, but I did export some additional audio into SFM to work on tomorrow.

SFM Diaries: All The World Is A Stage Is A Boat

It will be quite awhile before my next video sees the light of day, but what I’m putting in a lot of ideas to hopefully make something half way watchable. As a normal GMod video I don’t see it amounting to much, but recreating it in SFM and taking a liberty or two could spice things up a bit!

Something in the next scene is going to catch my eye… I wonder what it’ll be?

Living The Moderately Neat-O Life

My first day off always seems to be the day that I just chill and try to collect my myself. I passed out early enough last night that I woke up to a beautiful sunrise! Enjoyed some brunch, did a couple chores, and even had time to render the first part of my upcoming animated video! That gave me some time to play a couple games on Steam Deck while rendering. Got my ass trounced in Bayonetta, and I gave myself motion sickness in Overload. I guess this is my punishment for time traveling back to the early 90’s to make progress on one of the many games I never finished. Goals, we all have them.

Fun With Steam Deck Configs

I’ve been crafting a Commander Keen config for my Steam Deck! I’m getting tired of opening the on screen keyboard to save my progress, or answer old school dialogue windows. I also put in a radial menu for save numbers! It’s like having a computer built into a better Steam Controller. Once I’m happy with it I’m planning to make it public. There are already a few other configs to choose from on the Workshop, and I’d like to contribute! 😀
