I treated myself to some luscious 4K HDR graphical fun tonight, made some progress, etc. If there’s anything I like in this game it’s the scenery. It kinda reminds me a lot of the local foliage I’d encounter when exploring the local woods and rivers. Ahhh, good times.
Other than that it’s been a quiet Saturday. I slept in, gave myself a bit of a spa day, detox’d the day away with green tea, and treated myself to clean bedding. I can’t complain.
It’s officially my weekend now! I have the next three days off. I’ve been playing through The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe, a perfect game to play when your brain is completely shot from not having gone to sleep after a 12 hour rest. I experienced most of the new content the game has to offer, and I loved every second of it! I’m so satisfied with it in fact, that I’m thinking I’ll move onto another game tomorrow. Something that involves a little bit more than just walking around laughing at things. Perhaps walking around, laughing at things with slightly more mayhem.
Holy shit… I don’t know how I did it, but I went to bed a little after 10 this morning, and didn’t wake up until after 10 tonight. I must have been fucking tired. There goes getting any animation done before work.
There’s so much to do, and I only have time to get ready for work. I don’t think I’ll have a bit to do around the house when I get home tomorrow morning.

I’ve been listening to songs from the different Yakuza games while working (slowly) on the ending for the Like a Dragon vid. I can’t decide who’s rendition of Machine Gun Kiss I like better, Adachi or Kiryu.
I like both, though Adachi’s rendition has more feeling to it, especially at the very end. It’s also funny because his voice actor in Japanese is the same one who plays Solid Snake. Now I can’t help but imagine what it’d be like for Solid Snake to bust out those dummy thicc notes. 😛
Apparently while I was at work the other night there was a murder a few streets away from where I live. The victim was a 15 year old boy, and the murderer is still at large. I didn’t know the kid, but I knew his mother. I can’t imagine what must be going through her head right now… I’m not a parent myself, but it feels unnatural seeing someone younger having their life cut short.
I gained enough energy tonight to play a little more Okami, seemed like a nice way to kill a little time before heading off to work. I’m slowly making my way through the tower on Oni Island. I was going to do a little more animating this evening, but after some extremely boring rest I wanted to elevate my brain with something a little more on the fun side. I’ll attempt animation tomorrow if I wake up on time. My sleep got a little fucky this afternoon when I heard the lawnmower…
I spent most of the day/evening in bed. I’ve slept like shit, but I did keep my eyes closed the entire time… I think this is what depression feels like.

Decided to take an Okami break! I found the Dragon Palace, escaped a Dragon’s belly, and made my way to Oni Island. It was hours of new discoveries and secrets! I might play a bit more before calling it a night… I’m trying to stay up as long as possible to adjust my sleep schedule.
Not feeling well enough to post anything tonight, so I’ll just leave this here.

Escaping into SFM is like escaping into another universe, or in this type of setting a multiverse? Either way, having a drink with a friend and some good music sounds like a good place to lose myself before my head wanders to the land of sleep. I should have this video ready to deploy in another week or so, the ending is short n sweet.
