I Got Mooned Tonight

Well, she only made it to Half Moon… Show some decency ffs. This level took me almost an hour to finish, but I forced myself to finish it.

You start out fighting this cartoon girl, who shape-shifts into a plane, a blimp, and draws on the power of the stars to change into the physical form of various star formations.

As annoying it was dying time and time again, it was oddly addicting. Being able to fly made it even more interesting. Each time I died I tried different patterns to thwart her, and after almost an hour I finally finished the damned thing. I was tempted to play one more level, but I know it would probably take another hour… minimum. 😛

Giving My Steam Deck Some Love

Got to spend some quality time with my Steam Deck today! During lunch I progressed a little further into Grim Fandango Remastered, and managed to snag a few achievements by accident. It was a refreshing 20 minutes before returning to reality.

Then later on this evening I had an SFM render going on my main desktop, which left me with more alone time to fondle my deck. 🙂 This time I decided to revisit Cuphead, after abandoning it a couple years ago for other worlds in my library. It took a lot of slamming my head against the wall, but I did clear 3 levels, and even splurged on a couple of character upgrades! I’m pretty proud, in fact I’m proud enough to take a break and move onto something else. 😛 I might return to Race The Sun tomorrow. That one also runs real nicely on Steam Deck!
