Didn’t complete this chamber tonight, but I’m getting a better idea of what I need to do. I can tell the answer is right in front of me, but the fog of fatigue seems to be clouding my vision. I’ll need to return to this one when my brain is slightly more awake.

Another Day, Another 12th Test Chamber
Wandering around inside of an imaginary brain made me think that it’s been awhile since I’ve properly teased my brain. I managed to complete a test chamber tonight! Now I have a whole new chamber to ponder over!
I might try this again tomorrow – mayhaps a little sleep will give me time to think about it. It’d be cool if I could solve this in my sleep.
All Your Portals Are Belong To Me!
Finally made it far enough into Portal Reloaded to wield the Time Portal! It took a lot of banging my head against the wall, but I finally figured out the 8th test chamber – thinking with Time Portals plus regular ones takes some getting used to.
I’ve left off at the 10th chamber tonight. It involves momentum, getting a cube to a platform, and my brain is too tired to process it more. Ever look at a puzzle and think the answer is right in front of you, but you can’t see it? That tells me it’s time to sleep, and come back to this after a few sleep cycles, and a variety of other games from yonder collection.
My Brain Huuuuuuurts
Portals + Time Travel = I need to sleep on this one.
Small Bit of Progress in Portal Reloaded
I solved a couple chambers on my Steam Deck during lunch today, and obtained the legendary THREE PORTAL DEVICE! I haven’t gotten around to firing the third Portal yet, still understanding how to traverse time. Wibbly Wobbly etc etc. If you haven’t heard about Portal Reloaded check out the trailer! It’s free if you own Portal 2!
Portal Re-Reloaded?
Today at lunch I decided to revisit Portal Reloaded! If you’ve never played it – Portal Reloaded is a free mod that owners of Portal 2 can download via Steam! It’s a Portal game with a twist, you have your two typical portals, and a third Portal to take you back and forth between the Present and the Future.
I didn’t get as far as I wanted to, but now that I have it moving forward on Deck I might be able to finish it!
Has Anyone Checked Out Portal Reloaded?
I checked out Portal Reloaded this evening. It adds a whole new dimension to the game, or rather two. Aside from the traditional orange and blue portals you can also utilize a third green portal that allows you to travel between the present and the future. You can move a cube in the present, walk through the time portal, and find that the cube is where you left it. It’s really quite trippy, imagine your past actions having an impact in the future, and immediately accessible through a time portal!
If you like Portal or Portal 2 I’d give this a try. I’m only on test chamber 4 so far, and I can already tell my brain cells are going to be in for a ride! 😛
That One Time We Played Portal 2 Single Player in Co-op
Between the two of us is a brain that can solve single player puzzles! or mess up the game, which ever…
I Finished Thinking With Time Machine!
If you haven’t played it yet I highly recommend checking it out! It’s a mod for Portal 2 that you can download directly via Steam. It serves up more Portal related brain teasers with a catch, you have a portable time machine!
The time machine has three buttons: Start, Stop and Play. You can record yourself standing on or pressing buttons, picking up items to hand to yourself, firing portals or even crouching to help your current self get up walls.
The mod campaign is pretty short, although there is a workshop with more levels if you feel like punishing your brain into overdrive. I finished it in about three hours playing on and off, and most of that was through trial and error as the puzzles started to become more advanced. It’s definitely worth checking out if you want another portal related adventure… with a twist!
For Science
My Skyrim is showing signs of breaking again, so I decided to give myself a break from Tamriel and head to another realm I haven’t occupied in awhile, the Portal universe. I figured it was time for me to rekindle my love of portals and science.
I managed to progress further in Portal Stories: Mel. The puzzles are really quite different from what I’m used to. But I feel less dumb when I solve them. 😀 For a free mod it has great story writing and acting. If you haven’t checked it out yet, do so! It’s actually pretty fun, and funny!
