You’ve heard of the NES Classic, the SNES Classic, and SEGA has their own variants… but what about the Commadore 64 mini? Yes, it’s going to be a thing.

The C64 Mini comes with a number of notable C64 titles, like School Daze, Monty Mole, Rubicon, and more. It also has a USB port with USB keyboard support to plug in and operate it as a computer just like the Commodore 64 when it released 36 years ago.

It will release on October 9th. I have to admit this does look pretty cool all the way from aesthetic to the trailer. :happy:

Problem with these things is they are all emulated hardware as opposed to re-implemented. it is easily done. In the case of the C64 DTV joystick, that was a hardware accurate re-implementation on a chip, the creator (Jeri Ellsworth) also sneakily broke out solder points for keyboard, tape deck, and disk interfaces :v: because hardware hacking. the thing sold like mad wen makers found out XD .. so theres no reason why they cant do the same for these new mini things rather than make hardware emulators that wont have all the right timings of the originals.
