Chinese Brunch + Shower = zzzzzzz

So, I came home this morning and decided to make a Chinese cucumber soup and some stir fried vegetables in general tso sauce over noodles with some flowering oolong. mmmm, then I had a nice shower, but when I got upstairs I went into a coma by mistake…

In other news I got a birthday package today. Would have been here sooner but the Postal service put it in the wrong box… A lady came by with it today and said she rarely ever checks her mailbox so…. Yeah, even though I have boxes coming and going practically all the time they have to fuck this one up.

But if you’re reading this. Thank you for the stuff. Can’t wait to try the cake mix. 🙂

Sunday Open Thread.

I know I didn’t post much yesterday. So here is what I did in a nutshell.

Went to zombie hell to order bread.

Stayed too hours extra due to demand of bread plus fuckwit truckdiver being late… again. Oh well hours are hours.

Came home and relaxed. Walked away from computer and passed out on bed for a couple of hours.

Went onto steam to torture people and play Killing Floor and L4D1

Got buzzed off of beer and strawberry margaritas.

And today I played Team Fortress 2. Got rid of a couple items and won another shield for my sniper’s back.

Now to go to bed, like an old person…

Friday The 13th Open Thread

And nothing bad happened. I worked a full day today and nothing bad happened, and I came home to find that tonight’s dinner will consist of homemade pizzas and hot wings. mmmm…

My tea and hot cocoa arrived today from the world market. Looking forward to using them! Probably not tonight though. I’m mostly in the mood for a nice loose leaf green tea with berries inside of a silk pyramid tea bag.

Will probably be on to socialize tomorrow. I’ll also be announcing the next co author to take ette’s place.

Open Thread

Today Valve fixed the Portal 2 SDK tools. So I decided to play around in Hammer map editor and faceposer. Fun stuff…

Don’t really have much planned for the rest of the day. Tomorrow I go back to doing bread for 2 days, get a day off and then continue doing bread again for almost the rest of next week. The way they play musical chairs with other peoples jobs when certain people go on vacation is laughable.

So to try and get to sleep early tonight I deliberately short changed myself on sleep. I’ve also been making sure to drink decaf teas. A favorite being the Alaskan strawberry with some honey.

In other news my sleep cycle is still getting raped.

Work was pretty busy today. In fact they tried to get me to stay until midnight and I ended up having to tel them ummm…. I get off at 8:00 and have to be back at 8:00am. Fucking stupid…

I also have many early shifts next week too. Mostly preparing for the grand illusion I call a visit from the corporate office. Have to get everything nice and shiny. May as well lay out the astroglide too…

Back to this week, I have a full day tomorrow. Packed a lunch and everything. Should be off sometime in the afternoon. Might be back a bit late because the weather says it will be nice.

With the sun out today I decided to detach myself a bit from the digital universe. I went for a walk and decided to take some pictures in the park.

Open Thread

Looked at my schedule for next week, looks like I’ll be working on my birthday (I usually do anyway), and after Easter Sunday Zombie Jesus day I have been put back on bread bitch duty for a week and a half… Doesn’t sound like much but over a week of getting up at 6am is a pain in the ass.

Other than that I survived another day of work, nothing bad happened. Now I can spend the next 2 days doing whatever the hell I do.
