Ruining It For Everyone Else Since 2004
Yesterday was a very busy day. Woke up early for an auction for a logitech G510 keyboard, won it, got dressed and walked to the street fair. Lots of nice food and stuff there, but didn’t buy any of it. I wasn’t hungry plus the stuff there was pretty overpriced. Went to work afterwards. I was so busy that I never got to take my break, only a lunch. Lots of baking, cleaning, giving children cookies, etc. Have even more of it tomorrow.
Oh it’s gonna be fun…
Did some more work in premiere and after effects. Also played a bit of L4D2 on the side, didn’t run into any asshats but still got some nice footage. A hunter and jockey attacked me at the same time and I managed to come out of that without any rape whatsoever.
Will probably be on tomorrow afternoon sometime assuming I don’t pass out after work. I have a full day tomorrow which means it’s time to bring my lunch box! Thai fried rice awaits.
Errr, that was actually my score on my test about the Statement of Cash Flows – Yays!!! Wheeees!! And I finished up one of my classes today – Double Yay!!!

Well… Today I learned that I didn’t order enough bread to feed the old zombies. I spent 8am through 2pm doing nothing but trying to get bread to the shelf to feed the masses. We’re practically out now until Thursday. This is why I hate it whenever they put me on bread ordering duty. I always have to figure out how much to order one week ahead of time, what sale is taking place, how many people might be in and how the weather will be like. How the fuck do they expect me to figure this shit out at 6 in the fucking morning? For fucks sake I either order too much or not enough…
Work was pretty busy today. In fact they tried to get me to stay until midnight and I ended up having to tel them ummm…. I get off at 8:00 and have to be back at 8:00am. Fucking stupid…
I also have many early shifts next week too. Mostly preparing for the grand illusion I call a visit from the corporate office. Have to get everything nice and shiny. May as well lay out the astroglide too…
Back to this week, I have a full day tomorrow. Packed a lunch and everything. Should be off sometime in the afternoon. Might be back a bit late because the weather says it will be nice.
Lets see, last night I went to bed at about 6 am… Woke up at 3:11 this afternoon, got a call from work asking if I could work a shift today at 4. So I took it and came home at 8. Tore into a laptop someone gave me to work on (they wanted it wiped and reinstalled), I ran the install last night after formatting the Hard Drive, did some tweaks to it today and found out that not all of the data for windows installed properly. All sorts of shit was missing like Internut Exploder, windoze update, defrag.exe… And services won’t execute properly or remember what values I enter.I must say this is an interesting puzzle I have. I’m guessing either the hard drive is going bad, or there is a boot sector virus.
So then I decided to take a break and finish portal (again) to see the new ending that was just added today. It’s real… Interesting. I have a feeling it will either be a sequel to portal, HL2 E3, or a crossover of the two.
Well, I survived out in the rain today. It really sucks when your Monday is a Friday… 3 more days of work before I get 2 days off, at least my Friday will be a Monday.
Now I have an early morning to look forward to and it looks like more rain will be part of it. Nice…
