Barely survived today. Thanksgiving grows near and the last minute shoppers are attacking in hordes. Emotions run high in the work place when things don’t get done.
There was a sugar spill that I couldn’t get to right away. Mostly because the work cell I was holding kept hounding to get this or that for customers. One of the checkers had the nerve to tell me that I should have made cleaning the sugar up a priority. Technically cleaning up sugar at a check stand isn’t my job, so… Getting eggs and butter for a bunch of waiting customers is less important I guess. I told my boss that and he had a wtf look on his face. Oh, I’ll have to do it again tomorrow too… I was going to have the day off but I volunteered for extra hours.
That bullshit aside, my Logitech G15 came today and it actually works!!! Plugged it in and the display lights up. This one’s even better, the backlight on it is a nice blue color and the LCD display is not only larger but can be folded up and down like a laptop. Real nice investment if I do say so myself…
