Two days off in a row
After a calm workday I get to relax for a couple more days. Looks like I’m back to working evenings again. About friggin time.
So now I’m just sitting here reading while drinking PG tips with some cream, sugar and some tea biscuits. Contemplating how to blow up the internet tonight. Earlier I played some HL2DM and Serious Sam HD. I wonder what I’ll go onto next…

To those who saw me die online (again) tonight I’m sorry I didn’t come back. I picked that time to do shit like get ready for bed and eat dinner and whatnot… Will be on tomorrow if the internet isn’t a total prick.

The local trend around here is a bunch of elderly people wearing proud American T Shirts day in and day out. I guess if you watch YGOTAS it’s like living in a town with Bandit Keith’s grandparents. I never really noticed this until 2010. I don’t consider this to be wrong or anything, just strange. Hell maybe that’s why people in town think I’m a foreigner… I never wear a patriotic T Shirt. How anti American of me…
Exploding ice cream bowl of doom.
I wish I could have filmed it. There I was eating my Americone dream ice cream when all of a sudden when I pressed down to take another bite the bowl broke on my desk. It didn’t shatter into pieces and surprisingly it stayed together well enough to scrape onto a plate to pick through.
One of those remember 9/11 threads.
I remember that I was on vacation in Spokane during this time. I was sleeping off a fun night at the Spokane fairgrounds. Then my father came in and woke me up telling me that America had been attacked. Being half asleep I didn’t know what to think. I just camped on my aunts couch watching the news unfold. Changing the channel and noticing almost all the TV stations were pointed to the big news networks. I was mostly stunned now that I thought about it. Unlike most people though I didn’t go pointing fingers at what country did it…
It was a very sad day that will always be remembered. People lost their loved ones and most people became more fearful of indifference. It really shocked me one year during another vacation in Spokane when I heard one of my relatives say that we should get rid of all Arabs from the United States to make our country safer… No kidding. Of course they said nothing about certain individuals who like to blow up abortion clinics because people like that aren’t terrorists at all right?

Went to a bridal shower for a friend today and had a good time. Food was great, she was very happy and everyone had a good time.She certainly loved the assortment of vagisil and astroglide we gave her in our little care package. 😉

Well, I figured out the problem I was having with the image slider modules. I had incorrect pathing. >_> The site looks much much better now.
Evening Open Thread
I got off work early today and tore directly into searching for templates and image sliders… It seems I will have to play around with some CSS to get my own desired effect. So for the meantime the new SNews site is minus an image slider but is very tidy and organized.
I also made a Korean style dish today. I seem to be on a total noodle and tea thing again. At least I won’t go hungry tomorrow at lunch.
