I won’t have to return to work until Sunday. That in itself is a nice Christmas present. Tonight I had to make 2 trips to the mailbox to get all the packages and letters (and some of you guys are to thank for that 😛 ). We also have a bunch of goodies from our friends locally. Our teeth will probably rot out by the end of January.
Tonight I played a bit with Day Of Defeat Source in garrysmod. I now have all mountable content in gmod! I’m going to try and get back into making little machinimas. Left 4 Dead (and RL) has kinda left me distracted as seen here:

I wasn’t around much yesterday. I was enjoying actually having Sunday off! It was San’s birthday and we had company over for pizza and gifts (xmas and bday). Then I worked on a persons computer for awhile. What a piece of work! I won’t even go into that. Lets just say I have my work cut out for me big time.
And today I worked a full work day. Enough hours to get an hour lunch. I brought my laptop for personal entertainment but sadly there were no free plugs, they were all being used for xmas lights in the breakroom. But at least I had my mp3 player! Saved me from the constant xmas music that’s been playing since spanksgiving…
I remembered when I loved listening to Christmas music. But ever since Christmas began starting around August I’ve lost quite a bit of the spirit, mostly due to the demanding public. One thing goes wrong and the world comes to an end for them and they have to yell so everyone can hear them… Some of the spirit still remains though within the cookies, eggnog, and gift giving to one another, and I can’t forget the Christmas music parodies either. All of that puts me to ease after a hard day of public stupidity.

I’m proud to say I’m running 2 Left 4 Dead servers now. One private and one public. I recorded some footage tonight, unfortunately the updated fraps I downloaded screwed up the audio when working with it under premiere pro. So I had to roll back to the previous. I guess that just goes to show that if it ain’t broke for ya you don’t fix it.
On another note I’m not sure why, but I’ve really been craving the taste of ginger recently. I like it ground, fresh or pickled. I made a hot sauce and included 2 tbsp of fresh ginger in it, I just had a salad with ginger dressing, pickled ginger tastes good, and of course gingerbread cookies.

Due to the unofficial demise of the Uru community I will be looking into changing my blog since it’s focus is on a dead subject. I think it’s time to widen the blogs stance beyond more than Uru and I (while mostly keeping the me).
So if you keep coming around, then chances are you’re going to see some changes.

I haven’t posted in awhile. I’d like to say that I’ve been studying yet another evil FPS game called Left 4 Dead. Over and over again. I’m even running a private server to study how evil and un uru like it is.

Today was one of those relaxed days. It was cold outside but the sun was out, with some nice mist coming down when I went for a walk to the post office and bank. Came back home and did a bit of protesting on one of those evil Rand forsaken shards.
Putting my sugar and cream to good use today. Tried some Indian Spice Chai today with some cream, sugar and honey. Good stuff.
On another note, I’m feeling inspired to write another parody song. I’ll post it when I’m done.

Once again, it feels like winter is here. Even though it was cold all day today there were no clouds in the sky and the sun had a nice shine. It doesn’t feel right that it now sets around 4:30.
I’d better take advantage of this calm feeling while it lasts. Christmas is near, and the days leading up to it are never easy.
