The Mind Of OverlordTomala

My Unreal Sunday Of Gaming

Made some progress in Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night! I discovered a secret lab, which contained secret monsters, and a clone of myself that needed to be defeated. I played this in between my Steam Deck and my Desktop – Cloud Saving FTW.

Then it was onto multiplayer activities! Yutram and I braved more Borderlands 2 DLC, and squared off against credits that were almost as long as the DLC itself. Actually, we’re still going through it, but we had credits forced down our throat before it was over because reasons. We did earn an achievement though, so that was something. I’m not sure if the collected footage will be of any value, but I’m currently saving it to one of my recording drives. I’ve already nearly filled one of them up again! That 4K footage just eats up even more room.

Feelin’ Hawt Hawt Hawt

It was one of those rare Saturday evenings where the planets aligned long enough to do a little multiplayer! We played a bit of Serious Sam Fusion, got some achievo’s and even had a stranger join in on the fun! It’s one of those FPS’s that’s next to impossible to find assholes in. We played on Mental difficulty with infinite ammo, it was a literal blast! It’s a good thing we didn’t turn out deaths into a drinking game, or we wouldn’t have lived to take our final shots.

The Perfect Mood Lighting

A good chunk of my animation time went into animating the damned watermelon. For some reason it kept rubber banding, and not animating fluidly. It took me awhile, but I did eventually find where the problem was. Aside from that little hitch I have almost 30 seconds of animation done!… only another five minutes worth to go…

Don’t worry… I’ll try to find something else to talk about! 😛

Two Friends, One Boat

Once again I only had about an hour to spare working on the project. Fortunately, my partner in crime is much easier to animate! 😛 The last couple of days have been pretty busy with other things; from typical housework to lunch prep to putting the finishing touches on a care package for a certain someone. 🙂 I’ll probably put more focus on this during my vacation, though just enough that I’m still doing other stuff. I don’t want to spend the entire duration of my getaway to go into an imaginary one.

Week Two Aboard The S.S Cake Tits

I was able to get a lot of animation done yesterday, and by a lot I mean a splash in a fucking bucket. It will be awhile before I do a render, although I’ll probably keep exporting different scenes in different chunks to avoid making one giant ass render. Tonight I only had an hour to put into it, but I managed to get some of the facial animation done, plus some small movements to the spine and arms. I’m aiming to animate more of the scene tomorrow; knock off some more time on the clock.

What a Pain

Not too long ago there was an article I read about some cheap waste of time indie game, and it was one that actually piqued my interest (especially for seven bucks). Pain Party is a Souls Like mixed with game-show type shenanigans. It’s hard like any souls type, but it’s friendlier about your inevitable demise.

The weapons range from standard to interesting. You can wield a long sword, or a trout. There are also pistols, rocket launchers, and barbells that you can pummel your rivals with. For a playable shitpost it’s actually quite fun!
