I recently picked up Call of Juarez: Gunslinger as a freebie on Steam, and decided on a whim to try out a bit of it tonight. It’s a typical First Person Shooter with a perk system and leveling up that takes place in the old west, really digging it so far. I remember when it first released that it looked intriguing, but seeing Ubisoft in the title didn’t make it a top priority purchase for me, that and the large list of games already keeping me busy. But time has favoured those of us who pay close attention to locating free games, and tonight it was good fun making up for lost time on a title that went unplayed until now. I’m three levels in, and a level 5 redneck! I’ll have to play this a bit more, but I might have to check out the rest of the series if I keep pushing through it!
