The scary part? People are bidding on these. Either people don’t know how to read an entire sentence, or they want the special shiny packaging… Either way it’s weird to watch.

Lets face it. Most of us who have played the original portal know all of the memes attached to the game and the series in general. “The Cake is a lie” being one of the oldest jokes in the book at this point. Not these S.P.O.O.K’s in Oklahoma though! Local news station KJRH has a special report that will probably make you laugh a bit if you’ve played the game.
Of course, at this point the video has gone viral (if you can’t tell by looking at the comments) and the criticism of the entire internet has reached their eyes. They responded on their facebook page with this:
In a response to our story on KJRH, we’ve been labeled ” clueless ghost hunters” by Jason Joe Wayne Blevins …personally, I take no offense, as he is focused only on one thing, the chalk board. At NO TIME did I or any member of my team make any claims as to a paranormal cause, only that the time and placement of this phrase on the chalk board were unusual. It’s sad, that these few individuals that throw their negative comments about my team around do not do the countless hours of evidence review, research, and time spent on sites. If this individual can do it better, or anyone else can do it better, get out there and DO IT.
It gets better! They also claim that the chalk board message was written two years before the release of Portal. Clearly it’s the ghost of GabeN that is at fault for all of these lulz.

I went to work on my video project for Halloween and decided meh, too tired… So I decided to boot back to the Fedora side and test out some games. I tried to play Painkiller Hell and Damnation but didn’t get very far due to the program freezing the entire system. So I ended up playing psychonauts instead which ran smoothly.
I also recorded some stuff from a mumble discussion tonight. Sometime in the near future I’ll publicize a horrible fanfic reading. Each chapter will be it’s own episode. I’m thinking of hosting it on this blog and on my youtube channel. The fanfic is called “It’s My Life!” and it’s a Portal 2 fanfic that rivals My Immortal (although we pretty much agreed that it’s better than My Immortal or hell, even The Room!) and it’s full of all kinds of confusing details, grammar and well… I’ll save it for release.
Oh, and to wrap things up I got a smoothie, kicked back and went to town countertrolling some insufferable prick in one of the chats I’m a mod of. I’ve put it on my forum for those who are interested in reading it. Lets just say he was too easy…
At the end of the night I was treated to an unpleasant strip tease… A woman decided she didn’t need a fitting room and wanted to try shirts on. She stripped all the way down to her two bras. Security informed us about it, we told her to stop but she kept going anyway… Then she complained about it to someone else because how dare anyone not want to look at her double bra titties.

Get ready to LOL
There has been quite a bit of controversy regarding the Tux item released to people who use Linux distros. People have been “faking” linux installs to get the item and Valve is paying attention.
Well I didn’t personally but, this is something that I was curious about and, a friend just confirmed it. I offered him the use of my Linux machine via Teamviewer to get his Linux Penguin. He said he was uneasy about doing that and, said he was gonna look and, see if there was another way on Youtube.
Okay, whatever, it’s no skin of my nose. He came upon a video about changing what TF2 reads as your OS and, I guess he did it because I later saw that his name changed to I cheated for a tux. I thought he did it himself so I didn’t press the issue but, we started talking about the penguin like 30 minutes ago and, he mentioned that Steam changed his name on it’s own.
I wondered why and, then it hit me. It had to have been because he didn’t get it through the correct means and, the outcome made me laugh. I did a search for the name “I cheated for a tux” and, this is what I saw “Showing 1 – 50 of 3,884” amazing, huh.
That is hilariously awesome.
Well, aside from my morning shift (still groggy from that and may pass out after dinnerbreakfast), I bought a new laptop, 2 1TB 7200 RPM drives AND made it into the Steam Linux beta! So I might have to download the latest Ubuntu ISO later on to prepare, either that or wait for my new gaming system to arrive. I’ll post specs about it later when I’m less tired.
On another note I have a couple SFM things in the pipeline. One of them being my latest dream from last night. I think I’ll start on that one first.
Gonna go read up on some stuff now.
One of the places I like to read is Fat, Ugly or Slutty. A blog that specializes in pointing out stupid things guys do to girl gamers. Most of the stuff that’s posted over there is from the XBox community, but today I saw this and had to laugh about it.
I would have had a blast if I was playing with a group of guys like that on my server… oh god, where to begin? Especially with stuff like this at my disposal?
Supertanks, Rochelle Spitters, Smoker Bill’s that’ll strangle you with their dicks. How many ways could I make them rage? 😀
Not that it would affect me in this particular situation.
Washington Facebook Voter Registration
OLYMPIA, Wash. — Facebook users in Washington state will have something else to brag about to their online friends: that they registered to vote on Facebook.
The secretary of state’s office said Tuesday it will have an application on its Facebook page that allows residents to register to vote and then “like” the application and recommend it to their friends. It’s expected to launch as early as next week.
I read about this and thought it was one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard. Do any of these morons realize facebook keeps tabs on everything? Oh wait… We’re too fucking lazy to care.
I’m sorry. I’m not the kind of person that likes it when places like facebook or myspace keep tabs on everything that I do. Yes I understand that people use it also to find jobs or keep in touch with family. It’s just stupid that places like facebook use that sort of thing to exploit people into giving them their own personal information so that they may sell it for a profit. If anyone registers to vote via facebook they get whatever they deserve.

Although there was a white knight that came in there and made the mistake of providing fact, he was quickly shot down by one of the resident HeMen and the masturbaters of the universe.
