Decided to return to the Remedy Cinematic Universe tonight. Gave Jesse a small makeover, and installed a bunch of mods! The Nexus has five pages worth, and surprisingly some of them range from helpful to entertaining. I figure as Director I can pretty much do whatever the hell I want. Advanced the plot, and even got a small glimpse of Alan Wake:

One of the documents I found lying around mentioned him and Alex Casey, and it sounded like something that might have gone down in Alan Wake 2… of course it’ll be a long while before I find out. 😛 Maybe it’ll release on Steam after I finish Control and Alan Wake…. someday, someday.

Controlled My Weekend Til The End

Did a little more exploring in Control. Mostly collecting documents and winning battles. It was a nice getaway after spending the evening working on some animating. I’ve been bouncing in between two projects, and so far they seem to be tied for the lead. Tonight I worked on a lovely campfire scene, and tomorrow I’ll probably work on a comfy couch one. It’s been a nice couple days of R&R, and I know this week is gonna eat it up like a Thanksgiving Turkey.

In Control Of My Own Sunday

It’s been awhile since I last touched Control – long enough that I decided to start over again from the beginning. It gives me an excuse to make a proper config for my gaming keyboard, and to appreciate the 4K experience!

Dressing for the job.

I even decided to follow instructions on the PCGamingWiki to get the Playstation DLC via a hex editor. The instructions were pretty straight forward. I might check out some of the retexture mods at the Modders Nexus next time I decide to play. It could help add a little flair to my Photo Mode barrage. 😛

MY PRECIOUS!!!!!

I re-obtained the Floppy of Telekinesis before calling it a night. I think I’m fully refreshed on how to play again, and I even left notes for my future self to make sure I don’t get lost a second time. It’s one of the unfortunate side effects of traveling in between game universes, sometimes you forget a few things.

Back In Control

Made some good progress in Control! I gained a couple new abilities, fought a lot of Hiss, died a bunch of times… it was fun! I can now produce a shield at will and control weak enemies to do my bidding. It was another one of those games that looks superb on a big screen! Like being in control of a movie, that would be named Control in this case. 😛
