Best day I’ve had in awhile!

Well, aside from my morning shift (still groggy from that and may pass out after dinnerbreakfast), I bought a new laptop, 2 1TB 7200 RPM drives AND made it into the Steam Linux beta! So I might have to download the latest Ubuntu ISO later on to prepare, either that or wait for my new gaming system to arrive. I’ll post specs about it later when I’m less tired.

On another note I have a couple SFM things in the pipeline. One of them being my latest dream from last night. I think I’ll start on that one first.

Gonna go read up on some stuff now.

One of the places I like to read is Fat, Ugly or Slutty. A blog that specializes in pointing out stupid things guys do to girl gamers. Most of the stuff that’s posted over there is from the XBox community, but today I saw this and had to laugh about it.

I would have had a blast if I was playing with a group of guys like that on my server… oh god, where to begin? Especially with stuff like this at my disposal?

Supertanks, Rochelle Spitters, Smoker Bill’s that’ll strangle you with their dicks. How many ways could I make them rage? 😀

Steam’s Big Picture Mode: Aka AntiMetro

In case you haven’t heard (and you probably have) steam has a “big picture mode” for people using TV’s to game on.

So far it’s been very easy to understand. Unlike metro, it isn’t shoved in your face upon launch. Also the interface is pretty straight forward even for a beta. You can even type to your friends using a controller!

Not something I would use everyday (I game on a regular large monitor) but still a very nice option.
