Defeated the Hypno Baron and the “Horror” he summoned. This game is a pretty good laugh, and it gets good battery mileage on my Steam Deck. I might actually finish this some time soon-ish! I’m trying to get all the level items first.
Today’s choice for Steam Deck, Klonoa: Lunatea’s Veil from the Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series! I was happy when they finally ported them to PC last year that I bought it just to play on Steam Deck! After all these years of playing the console roms.
I’m making sure to play something at least an hour a day. The project I’m working on will probably take a couple months to do, and if I want to do it right I need to have some chillaxation time.
Taking a break from one pummeling and getting through another one. In this case it’s Outland! I made quite a bit of progress! Increased my health, and now I can harness both the power of light and darkness in the name of getting more achievements!!! Bwahahahahahahaha!
Took another crack at Abyss Odyssey, this time as Katrien. I made it juuuuust outside the Warlock’s entrance before getting gang banged by a bunch of demons… oh well. I leveled up, so there’s that I guess?
Neon White is an epic casserole of FPS, RPG, and platforming wrapped in an anime shell. You play a man that died and went to heaven… sort of. You’re a Neon; a soul that should be sent to hell, but heaven is under attack by demons and you have to compete with other Neons in order to secure a spot in heaven for the one ass destined to sit next to Jeebus or whatever.
I’ve only completed the first mission and a couple of side quests, but I’ve been having fun with it. I’ve been going through and replaying each level over and over again in missions to try and get as many gifts and extras as possible. So far my experience has lived up to all the hype I’ve been reading about. It’s Deck Verified too!
Any day where I can put time into a game and actually make progress puts a smile on my face, even if I don’t get any trophies. I mastered the gravity inversion technique! Now I can turn my world upside down to get into places I never thought I could go! I’m over 75% of the way to completing it, but I still need to do another playthrough in David Hayter mode! 😛
Thanks to cloud saves I’ve been playing it between my main computer and the Steam Deck quite easily. It’s cool being able to play this on the couch, in bed, on the toilet? Literally anywhere, with only one copy of the game. No having to rebuy it for multiple devices.
I knocked a light bit of Dust off of Dust this evening while running a couple renders. There was even one quest completed! I’ve moved onto the creepy woods now to further the plot, and this is where the adventure ends for now. There are plenty of other games screaming at me for their attention this weekend.
I had one of the best, deepest sleeps last night. It gave me enough energy to finish writing that story, and allowed me to spend the rest of this cold cloudy day to mess around in Klonoa!
This game has boss fights that are as challenging as the characters are adorable, even most of the enemies. I lost numerous lives trying to defeat this fucking bastard, and I’ll have to go back again because I somehow missed a bitch. I’m thinking it’s time for a little break.
After years of emulating the PS1 and Wii versions I finally decided to get the recent PC port! It comes with Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Lunatea’s Veil. I never got to play the PS1 version on release, and I never owned a PS2, so it was nice to finally buy the real deal for my platform! I played a bit of the Lunatea’s Veil tonight, and cleared a few stages in Door to Phantomile last night. It runs nicely on Steam Deck! I’m not sure what’s been up with me playing all of these furry critters lately, but I’m sure it’ll give me more to blog about. 😛
