Read Any Good Sacraments Lately?

Things have been moving along at a decent enough pace on the current Skyrim video! I finished rendering all of the green screens yesterday, and today I built a new scene! I re-listened to one of the audio bits and thought it would be better to give it a scene of its own instead of overlaying it over the background. So far I’m working through it quicker than anticipated… I might actually be learning something! FUCK.

I’m hoping to finish this up either tomorrow or Thursday at the very latest. Then I can focus on building the end cutscene. Yutram and I have been floating ideas back and forth on how to end the video… decisions, decisions… 😛

Let Me Guess… Someone Stole Your Sweet Roll

I might have an idea of who…

Spent the evening wading through Skyrim footage, and finding possibilities! I have 45 minutes left to cut through; by tomorrow evening I should have a better idea of what will go into the next, next video. Until then I’ll just have to put some of mah sweet rolls up on display, uh-hut!

When You’re Hot, You’re Hot

I got through this a lot faster than expected. All trimmed down, one small bit of animation, and just enough editing to make it into something somewhat worth sharing. I should also have enough for a second video, but that one might take a bit longer. 😛 That’ll give me an excuse to release the smaller videos in the meantime! There will at least be some activity planned for a little while. 😀

So, there will be a video release to look forward to this weekend! Y33t!

The Adventurer No One Asked For

It was a fun walk down memory lane this evening in Shotcut, the Skyrim footage is proving to be quite promising! So far I have almost two hours worth of footage cut down to a little over half an hour, with another fifteen minutes of it to chop up before doing a second pass at it. Unlike the three videos I pumped out this week, this one looks like it’ll require more attention in the animation dept. There is a tidal wave of ideas flowing through my brain right now; I’m overwhelmed with horrifying imagination between what transpired on screen, and what I have in SFM assets.

Easter/Skyrim Open Thread

This weekend I decided to venture through a game I haven’t touched in awhile. I got it up and running on the TV with all of my mods! My reason for visiting ol Skyrim was to revisit the Easter Egg Hunt in The Levelers Tower.

I’ve also started prepping to move over to Skyrim: SE. It’s had plenty of time to mature on the modding front, and there are plenty of tutorials out there for converting mods over to Skyrim:SE, so I might as well get up and running on Skyrim God Rays Edition.

Meanwhile… In My Weekend Land

I wasn’t really feeling it this weekend. Still feeling jetlagged from the last work week, and the cold dark weather doesn’t seem to be helping me want to stay awake. I’ve been taking it easy these last couple days, returning to Skyrim which is basically a comfort food game at this point. I played a little at lunch the other day, piloting my TARDIS around Skyrim, and that was enough for me to cause shenanigans on my desktop version.

I keep meaning to sit down and play Special Edition now that it has plenty of mods to garner my interest, but the plans I have in store for the build would probably take me a couple days to prepare. :v So for the time being I’ll settle with Oldrim from time to time when I feel the need to throw my melons at people.

Or salad I guess.

You should always waste time when you don’t have any

My plans to work on one of my video projects kinda went up in smoke due to… well the overwhelming amount of fire smoke from California and my state of Oregon. The northwest of the US is on fucking fire right now, and it seems like it gets drier and drier every year with everyone treating this as the new norm. I miss having summers without smoke and elpresidente orange skies. As often as I’m having to use my laptop I really should consider putting SFM and Shotcut on here; the real question is how would I go about syncing my projects between systems.

Of course there is the old standby…

I’ve been piloting my TARDIS around. I’ve only flown it a couple times, but other than that I’ve hardly touched the mod due to… well other mods distracting me before I get around to it. :v I have it all figured out for the next stream… perhaps we can play Musical TARDIS and everyone watching can be my companion, almost anyone is better than Lydia, even a Teddy Bear.
