Let Me Pop Down To The Tea Cellar

I’ve been finding that I need more caffeine to get my ass motivated in on workdays. I’ve been sticking with black tea, mostly pu’erh in different incarnations. For the hell of it I calculated how much tea I consume in a week, and I have a consistent 5 litres a week for work alone. That’s not taking into account the afternoon/evening tea, which will be anywhere between a cup or another litre. I really do enjoy my tea, and since I’ve returned from vacation I’ve really been hitting the tea reserves hard! I used the last of my Cranberry Blood Orange black tea, and had to use some pu’erh to make up the difference. Last night I also drank the last of my apricot and watermelon collections. I’m still nowhere near low on tea either! I want to drink as much as I can before the holidays, or before I order more tea again. So many tea gifts and sales go by and things just add up after awhile.

Purging just gives me an excuse to buy more anyway. 😛

Took a little break from spring cleaning to check out a game. I decided to try out Counter Strike Condition Zero: The Deleted Scenes. Ran the training hall ok and played a bit of the first level, looks like a fun game. I also played a bit of regular condition zero, that I will need practice in. The graphics are pretty old, but look slightly better than HL1.

On another note, time to hit the hay. Got some inspirational incense to inhale and some calming tea to drink me into a coma.

Peace out bitches.

What my tea tells me.

One of my favorite brands to drink is Yogi. I’m making up a pot of chai roobios right now and never noticed that the tag on the teabags have messages on them. Pretty cool because they remind me of fortune cookies. Here is the wisdom the teabags bestow unto me tonight.

“You must know that you can swim through every change of tide”
“You will feel fulfilled when you do the impossible for someone else”
“Whether you give or share, are kind or not, never let your grace fall.”

I really needed the last 2 days off. I woke up today and I feel absolutely great! I’m brewing some tea to take with me today. Decided to go with some afternoon tea from across the pond. Too bad there is no lemon juice or lemons in the house, that would go real good in this right about now.

Oh well, perhaps I’ll post more after ten.

Time for me to retire for the morning until later today. Probably won’t be heard from much either. Work called earlier in the day informing me of a schedule change. I get off at 7:00pm and have to be back at 8:00am. Still, better than getting off at 9:00pm to return at 6:00am.

Now to light up some incense, drink some chamomile honey tea and rest until I have to go to hell the shithole work.

I survived my first day back in hell with nothing new to report. Thought I’d share my latest device for brewing tea.

This thing is wonderful. You put a bag or loose leaf tea in the strainer and add hot water to the thermos. You don’t have to worry about pulling the bag out or anything. Today I brought blackberry sage tea to work. It brews a very nice 2 cups of tea.
