Wondertea

Over the holidays I got a nice haul of tea thanks to a long time best friend of mine, and one of the many teas I got was from a nice pack of Disney’s Alice In Wonderland tea collection. It cones with six flavors total, and the one I’ve mainly been sucking on so far has been the blueberry one, and also a bit of the medley tea… that stuff is like sweet nectar. :melon:

On the inside of each triangle there are instructions for either brewing hot or iced tea as if it were written by the characters themselves. It puts a nice bit of imagination to tea time. I’m not sure what it is but I’ve mainly been drinking blueberry tea or coconut vanilla iced tea for the last few days, something about those flavors leaves me coming back for more as if it were watermelon. I have a feeling the blueberry will be going very quickly. :v:

A Game Of Musical Hard Drives

I’ve been playing with 8TB of disc space today. I’ve been transferring my primary Steam drive since early this morning in alphabetical segments. I have almost every single part of my library installed on Windows (which makes it equally handy to just copy games over for quick Proton tests, life’s good being your own Steam game repository for other computers on the network) and it takes awhile to move 2TB of shit into a 4TB space, currently on the letter T as I write this.

I’m going to do a little digital house keeping and rearrange my drive structure, take out two of my 1TB drives and replace them with two 4TB’s, and just use 1TB drives for hot swapping or OS tests, any other mad act of science I can think of…

The rest of my day has been pretty quiet and mundane, the weather has been keeping me indoors sipping tea poured from my flowering teapot. Been awhile since I’ve had a flowering tea, its creme brulee green tea, highly recommend it.

Also would like to mention that I think I’ve confirmed that my crashing issues are the power supply. We plugged my Vega into my Dad’s gaming setup and it ran with flying colors. Played for well over an hour without a single crash or screen tear. He was happy for more than that reason though. He’s still on an x58 chipset and my RX Vega64 ran in his system without choking, apparently it is possible depending on the motherboard and BIOS you’re using. He updated his BIOS recently and it gave him UEFI support, which I think made it possible to run my GPU in his system. Yesterday was a good day all around, and it’ll be better when that damned power supply shows up, here’s to tomorrow I guess.

I also got some more of my Christmas shopping done. I’m thinking all that’s left will be gifts of the digital variety…

Birthday Reprise

I had some birthday presents arrive in the mail recently, one of them being some really nice Oolong. Alas all of my containers are full of… tea; because I have problems. To keep anyone from throwing away a perfectly good cardboard box I took a moment to get the point across:

It has a really earthy aroma, in some ways it reminds me of licorice. I haven’t tasted it yet, but will have it iced tomorrow for work. At some point when the stars align I’l use it in the Gaiwan set, also a birthday present!

For my fellow tea drinkers

Everything from the color of the tea, to the teabag, and to the presentation are just all kinds of awesome. :meeseeks:

The tea is a natural blue due to use of the butterfly pea. Plus the tea has both peppermint and spearmint making it both look and taste refreshing. Someday I will have to order it, at the moment I’ll get by on my flowering green tea. :meeseeks:

A good day for tea

After a nice bit of rest I feel much better, only took a total of 17 hours. Probably would have been longer if it hadn’t been for the sun shining on my face. I came home yesterday feeling pretty exhausted. Played some Skyrim for a bit until it crashed, then I did too not long after. Woke up to some frosty cold weather. No wonder I hibernated for so long…

It’s been a lovely day to ingest warm beverages. I found an interesting blend of Earl Grey a few days ago that I’ve been meaning to try. It has calendula petals in it and an extra touch of what makes a good Earl Grey, the beragmot oil. It tasted pretty good, the flowers added an interesting spin on a classic tea favorite of mine.

The brand is called Pinky Up. They appear to be new in the tea business, and I’d have to say they’re off to a great start! I’ve tried their Tiramisu tea which has actual white chocolate and coffee in it, that was pretty damn excellent. I bought all the other teas they had available (new selection I found at work, one of the few times I’ll impulse buy. 😛 )
