Valentine Yogurt

I celebrated Valentines Day by making a chocolate strawberry yogurt parfait with a few chocolates and some cocoa granola:

The one on the left is a mint chocolate parfait. Figured I would make something holiday themed and practice for a St Pat’s parfait for next month! I want to make something that tastes like a shamrock shake minus the throat burning and concrete staining our amazing American McDonald’s Milkshakes are known for.

On another note: I’m almost out of Watermelon juice… :zorak:  Will have to stock up for the weekend I suppose. :melon:

Valentine Open Thread

Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope everyone celebrating had a good day. I had a quiet day at work apart from the usual pervy old men that go around checking to see if women are married today. I celebrated it when I went home by accidentally taking a nap. I guess that counts as self pampering? I haven’t had a chance to take a good nap for a couple weeks now.

I’m almost done with trimming and editing. I had it refined to about 5:15, and now after adding additional elements I’ve trimmed it down to 4:36. I can’t wait to release it; Part 3 features my favorite part of the entire shit show of a campaign… the pool. I’m not sure if I’ll make it by next Monday, as I’m contemplating a couple more animated scenes to throw in or to just save it for the finale video. I have one idea with how to end the episode, but may consult my council first.

For now I’ll have some steak and lobster and ponder it in the dark abyss.

I’ve added back the “Friends Of The Overlord” menu linking to friend blogs plus did a little more tweaking. There are some bugs I’m not sure about, like the emoticon list vanishing behind the footer for example. Other than that I think things are coming along nicely, hopefully I’ll be able to start blogging semi-normally again. Speaking of emoticons I’ll need to add those back in. Gotta have those melons! I’m also thinking about a background image, any suggestions are welcome.

I hope everyone is having a great valentines day. Having a day off to rest and get some tidying done was plenty for me. I also kicked back and read some of my cookbooks to get an idea for what to make for dinner on Friday, thinking of doing Thai, been awhile since I’ve made anything Asian… and it’s been a few days since I’ve done any gaming. I might have to treat myself to something before climbing into bed if I can resolve to stop tinkering with the fucking website. That in itself can turn into a game…
