Video production is going well. So far I have two Resonite videos compiled and ready to release. The Resonite videos won’t have any additional animation to go with them, unfortunately. As much as I’d like to add something extra I can’t find the reason. As it stands though I think they’ll be fine enough on their own. When I have more energy tomorrow I’ll start working on the video thumbnail(s)
I’ve got enough footage from Resonite that I’ve started sifting through the couple hundred gigs I’ve accumulated. I still have to figure out how I want to divide it up, but I have plenty for at least one video. I’ll go over it again with fresh eyes tomorrow to figure out how I want to end the video, and what additions I need to add to it… if any. So far I’m not sure if I need to add anything additional.
Each night I’ve been diving into public folders where avatars, props, and all kinds of tools are kept. This evening I scored on some Omega Mart Products! Methinks I’ll be doing some grocery shopping for my personal home. 😀
During my excursion into public folders of swag I also stumbled upon some drinkable Gatorade bottles. Another item I’ll probably stock up on… if I remember which folder I grabbed it from. I was filming at the time, so if I forget I’ll probably be reminded when I finally get around to processing the footage. 😛
Making my way through the Skyrim footage from 2020. So far I’m only finding little bits and bobs, though I’ve only been through just one of the streams so far.Not enough to really make a video of it, but I do still have about 8 other Skyrim videos from 2020 to go through, so I may yet have at least one last hurrah of Skyrim footage… until I play the game in 4K anyway. :v
Starting next week I will be releasing YouTube videos! I’m hoping to get my current project wrapped up towards the end of the month, and I already have a couple other releases planned in the meantime. Worst case scenario the last video releases in July.
Went over the last of the Skyrim 2019 footage, and have decided it will be a small montage of its own. It won’t need much for animation, other than just one small thing involving a greenscreen, might even have it finished tomorrow. If I do finish it I’ll probably just can it for later, after featuring the other video I finished.
Been going through the rest of my Skyrim footage over the last couple of days. I only have about ten more livestream videos to go through and I’ll finally be done with it. Hard to believe that footage used to span almost three hard drives, but I’m nearing the end of the Oldrim stuff. Maybe someday I’ll return for some 4K adventures, but for now I have plenty of other games and footage to go through. Each livestream is about an hour or two of footage to go through, and surprisingly there are a few little gems hidden within.
Of course, it’ll be awhile before any of it sees the light of day… sooooo many irons in the fire.
Don’t have much to say. It was a nice, sunny day. You could smell the freshly cut grass wafting in the breeze. As usual I enjoyed a good mandatory tasty weekend breakfast, fiddled with a couple of games and finally canned a video! I’ll probably work on the thumbnail after work tomorrow, and tonight I’ll sleep on what I want the title to be… and dream of what the next weekend will bring.
Operation Game Of Life is going according to plan! It’s looking like it will be at least a two-parter for YouTube. I probably won’t be debuting it this month, sad to say. I’d rather take my time to finish this and Part 2 to show back to back. I’m thinking June at the latest. I have two more SFM things to make for it, and a few things that I can put together in Krita, then it should be completed and ready to can up! Kinda bummed that I probably won’t be putting things out for awhile longer, but maybe these videos can help pad things on YouTube when they finally release.
I didn’t have time to delve into any animation tonight. Instead I sifted through last weekend’s Game Of Life recording, and it has some promising audio that might be worthy of animation. I have to do the second bit of audio sifting, but that will have to wait for another evening. I spent the last hour checking out Deathloop, and so far my only issue with it was a freeze the first time I started the game. Other than that it seems to run ok.
I only made it out of the first level, so far I have no complaints. The graphics look very nice, though optimization could be better. I was kind of hoping it would be like Prey where you could choose between two different characters, but it seems you only get to play Colt in Single Player while Julianna can only be played in Multiplayer… not that it really matters. So far I like Colt’s personality. Will definitely have to loop back around to play this again!
The 30 seconds of video I commented about in yesterday’s post magically turned into a bout 30 minutes! There should be a few videos I can make from that, one of them being a special kill compilation of my magical blade in action! I had fun revisiting this recording, it was one of my all time favorite streams! So much happened in five hours, and at least a fraction of it might be worth looking at! It took me pretty much the entire evening to sift through it, enough that I’ll revisit it on another day. I think I’ll take a break from making goofy shit to focus on other goofy shit – have to keep it versatile or things go stale.
