More Entertainment This Weekend!

If everything goes according to plan I should have this up to view by the weekend! I’m rendering the animations now, and I also have the video thumbnail good to go. I just need to drop in the ending, export, and call it good!

Meanwhile, as everything falls into place; I’ve been combing my hard drives for more video footage to adventure through! I’ve already deleted a few hundred gigs of GMod footage that I won’t be needing (the audio wasn’t setup correctly). I still have a couple hundred gigs of GMod footage to go through, but that’ll have to wait for another day… I’m starting to look at my Serious Sam footage with intrigue, although I already tossed a little over 100GB of video for that.

That just means I’ll have more storage for later. 😀

Destructive Destructiveness

I’m currently in the process of evaluating some long forgotten Deadpool footage from an old livestream! So far I’ve narrowed it down from almost two hours to just a few minutes. This one will be like the Yakuza one in the sense that it will only have an ending, so some script writing will need to be involved to close the visual gap.

I also put together the video thumbnail for Saturday’s Broforce video! It’s simple, but that’ll match the footage. That’s one nice thing about Broforce content; it pretty much writes itself.

A Little Work, A Little Play

I’ve decided to shift my video making focus on Broforce. Having gone over the footage a few more times I’ve knocked it down to about ten minutes, and that could net me at least two videos. Staging it will be easy for the most part, since I still had the stage built from the previous Broforce video:

I’ve already changed what I needed on the character models, and exported the audio for the animated bits. I’m planning an opening and a closing scene, and I’m not sure how long those will take, but my goal would be to have at least one of these videos ready by next month. Tomorrow I’ll get started on moving some bodies around!

Meanwhile…

I even made a little time today to play Yakuza 0! One of my co-worker buds reminded me that I still need to finish it, lol. He came back to work recently after being out with an injury for a couple months, and I guess he had time to finally finish it. I didn’t do much tonight, other than treat some homeless people to a round of drinks in exchange for information, and up’d my skills as a master brawler! Now I’ll have a small status update when I talk to him again at work! That, and a mentioning or two of the other games I played yesterday. I wonder if he’s ever played any of the Call Of Juarez series…

The Broforce Is Strong In These Future Clips

I wanted to do a little bit of Shadow Warrior 2 tonight, but my dizzy spells had other plans for me. On the bright side, editing Broforce footage doesn’t cause me to induce any vomiting! I edited down almost three hours of footage into a little under 14 minutes! It can only get shorter from here! I think I’ll take a break from it over the weekend though. It’s supposed to rain for the next day or two, time to hibernate a little, and maybe play a game if my stomach allows me to.

Revisiting Memories Of Broforce

I found time to look through my Broforce recordings, and it has, like, allllllll of the content. There’s a little over two hours of content to go through still, and I already found a video’s worth to play with, and plenty of potential for animation! Revisiting this one has been a blast, laughing at how many times we died and all the numerous ways we did it.

My previous Broforce project was fun to work on. It’ll be interesting to see what I can conjure up, and when I might think of releasing it. 😛

A Blockdude And A Cyborg Walk Into A Bar

Tourist Season

The scene has been posed, and the script has been written! Now we just need to find the time to go over it and do a little recording, and I can begin animating. This will be the second time I’ve done a bar scene, we seem to like bar hopping from universe to universe. I guess there’s a certain Party God we can thank for that! 😛

If there’s any spare time tomorrow I think I’ll go through more footage, just to see if there’s anymore gold to find. TAKING CARE TO NOT DELETE ANYTHING FROM THE MAIN PROJECT DRIVE.

I’m thinking Broforce. 😛

Construction & Destruction

I had to kick myself around a bit last night… apparently in my footage cleanup I deleted something slightly important, like the game footage for my second Amnesia video. I’m not sure how I did it, but it’s no longer on any of my drives. The only consolation prize is the animation I put in for the ending, which can work on its own as a stand alone video. I’m kinda bummed that these horrible memories are gone, but that just means I can revisit these nightmares again in 4K. Oh well… Live and learn. At least I’ll have two videos for October, albeit one of them a tad smaller than anticipated.

That said, it’s time to begin anew. There is a Yakuza video to be made! I will need some rest before I begin construction! SHAKA!!!

Dreaming Of Yakuza Sheep

It looks like I can add my Yakuza footage to my 2022 YouTube lineup! There’s a good few minutes of content that I cherry picked out of the hour of footage I’ve accumulated. In fact, it doesn’t really need any of my animation to go along with it, unless I count the video editing. I’ve already started working on it and have already begun brainstorming with Yutram for how the ending will go down. I’ve already downloaded some helpful assets to properly setup the stage. In fact, the stage is about 75% of the way setup! I just have to decorate the room, place the “actors” in their proper areas with proper poses and then begin working animating dialogue… once we have that written down.

I’m Never Bored

It’s looking like Okami will make for one fun video to make! I cut down a couple hours of footage down to a little under five minutes. There are a few opportunities for some animation as well, and not at the nightmare level that I operated at for the last project. Still… I might go over some other footage from another game before getting heavily invested in it. While exploring my massive collection of visual gaming nonsense I found some footage of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and I wanted to see how much of it I could salvage. Eh, I’ll save that for next week… My weekend draws close and I have other things I’d like to partake in of the productive type. My back is starting to finally feel more normal enough that I might attempt to excavate my closet.
